Difference between in AAAC Conductor and AAC Conductor.

AAAC Conductor and AAC Conductor:-

AAAC Conductor and AAC Conductor are a part of Overhead Conductors, Transmission Conductors and Power Distributor Conductors. These cables are All Aluminum Conductor (AAC), All Aluminum Alloy Conductor (AAAC) and Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR).

These aluminum conductors are made up of one or more strands of aluminum wire which depends on the specific application.

AAC (All Aluminum Conductors)

This conductor is formed by one or more layer of pure aluminum AA1350-H19, hard drawn. The conductivity is 61%. This kind of AAC Conductor (All Aluminum Conductor) has a very low value of specific mechanical resistance and it is used for short lengths and not for long spans.

It has a very good resistance to corrosion and his modulus of elasticity is characterized by a law that considers the formation of the conductor (number of wires and layers).

AAC Conductors

These AAC are refined, Aluminum stranded conductor with a minimum metal purity of 99.7%. It is mainly used in urban areas so as to provide the perfect support to the cables as it takes less space and its installation is easy. AAC Conductor (All Aluminum Conductor), are used extensively in Railway and Metro industries.

AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductors)

The material which is used on these conductors is an aluminum alloy AA-6101. Its special alloy with Magnesium and Silicium with an excellent conductivity value. The average value is 53%. These AAAC Conductor (All Aluminum Alloy Conductors) are used as a bare conductor cable on aerial circuits which requires a larger mechanical resistance than AAC.

AAAC Conductors

The biggest difference between AAAC Conductor and AAC Conductor are the materials from which they are constructed from. AAC Conductor is manufactured from electrolytic ally refined aluminum with a 99.7% minimum purity.

AAAC Conductor is made from an Aluminum alloy. The mechanical resistance of AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductors) is higher than AAC conductor and it also maintains a high corrosion resistance.

These are some of the differences which are listed above and it brings the maxim usage due to its characteristics.
